Here you will find some questions that have been previously asked by clients, I will aim to add any new questions that may arise during sessions.
How long is a session?
A counselling session is 50-60 minutes.
How much does it cost?
Individual sessions cost £50
Couples counselling cost £75
Is counselling confidential?
My therapy is carried out according to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice, which asks that confidentiality is maintained at all times. However, there are limitations which I will discuss at the beginning of the session. If I felt there was a need to break our confidentiality, then I would always try to discuss this with you first.
What if I cancel or am late?
If you do need to cancel a session, then hopefully you would agree that it’s reasonable to require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, then the full price will be charged for the missed session. If you are late, then please still come, however I am sure you can see the session will need to finish at the usual time.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is unique so we will discuss your needs during our initial session. I will review our progress to ensure your therapy is working to your needs.
Where and when will my counselling take place?
I am based in The Metropole Chambers, Salubrious Passage, Swansea SA1 3RT. Ideally situated in the heart of Swansea, convenient for transport and parking close by.
Appointments are available daytime and evenings.
